Daniel Altenburg received his MFA from the University of Arizona (2011), and recently completed his PhD in English-Creative Writing at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette (2019). Daniel is interested in space, the familial, their intertwinement, and the vulgarities of colloquial and gendered language. His work has appeared in The Offending Adam, BlazeVox, Yalobusha Review, The Hunger, Juked, and Gigantic Sequins. His book Flight is forthcoming from Spork Press.
